ReStory Customer Choices Guide (Spoiler-Light)

Customer conversations are part of ReStory's progression, not flavor text that can always be skipped without consequence. The released description promises a branching story with multiple endings, and it gives two examples of decisions that can affect a customer's life. Exact route outcomes are not yet repeatably documented, so this guide stays spoiler-light and avoids invented branches.

What can be a decision

Choices can appear around:

• what you say to a customer;
• whether you help someone without charging;
• whether you surcharge a repair;
• what you do with information discovered during a job;
• whether you help one character communicate with another.

One public achievement, Origami, specifically rewards helping a child for free. That confirms at least one charitable action has a mechanical result as well as a story context.

Two officially described examples

The game's public description asks whether you will report a disturbing discovery in a former gangster's phone, and whether you will help a lovestruck student confess. These examples prove that a repair can reveal a social decision beyond replacing the faulty part.

They do not reveal every follow-up, ending flag, or best answer. Treat the moment as a deliberate character choice rather than searching for an unsupported “correct” option.

Before selecting dialogue

1. Finish reading the full prompt.
2. Separate the customer's requested repair from the personal choice around it.
3. Decide whether you are role-playing generosity, profit, privacy, honesty, or intervention.
4. Expect later dialogue to reflect some decisions.
5. If you want to compare routes, make your own save plan before the choice; do not assume every branch can be reversed immediately.

Pricing choices matter too

Hands-on preview coverage observed both charitable repair and surcharge options. That means a customer decision is not always presented as a dramatic story prompt; the price you choose can also express how you run the shop.

Use the same rule as the rest of the business: know what the repair cost, know what obligations the shop has, and choose intentionally. This guide does not claim an exact reputation score or ending formula because neither is currently verified.

Endings: the honest boundary

Multiple endings and replayable branching are confirmed. Exact ending names, route flags, choice chains, and point thresholds are not. A full ending guide would require completed, repeatable playthroughs with controlled choices and ending-state captures.

Until that evidence exists:

• no ending is labeled “best”;
• no dialogue answer is promised to guarantee a route;
• no hidden point system is invented;
• no customer's later fate is spoiled from a single preview line.

The main story is officially estimated at 15+ hours, and replayability is part of the design, so discovering one route before optimizing another is a supported way to play.
